As an organizer, you have the option to delegate responsibilities by appointing category or role managers who will take charge on the ground.
Our volunteer and staff management software allows you to assign managers to a category or a mission, enabling them to manage their team both before and during the event.
Delegating responsibilities means better on-site management. Team coordination, assignments, and scheduling — managers are empowered to fully manage their category or mission thanks to access rights to the platform.
If you haven't yet appointed your managers, refer to [this article] to guide you through the process.
For each manager, you can define specific access rights. We have created two types of permissions:
- Read-Only: This is the default right when assigning someone as a manager. It’s a view-only mode, where the manager can only access and consult data related to the volunteers within their scope.
- Editor: In Editor mode, the manager can perform actions within their assigned scope.
How to Define Access Rights
When appointing a manager, both modes will be offered. Simply choose the appropriate level of access and confirm your selection.
You can also define access rights from the Users page.
- Go to the Settings tab.
- Click on the Users menu.
You will find a summary of all your users, including managers, with the ability to edit the rights of each one.
Note: A Category Manager, whether in Read-Only or Editor mode, has the same permissions as a Shift Manager. Additionally, they can create new roles within their assigned category.
