Event Cancellation Procedure
Need to cancel your event? Here are the steps to complete the process:
1. Stop ticket sales
Start by halting ticket sales.
To do this, log in to your Weezevent management dashboard and switch your event back to draft mode.
2. Notify participants
Important: Weezevent does not automatically send cancellation notices to attendees. It’s your responsibility to inform them.
You can easily export the email list of your participants via: Attendees > Manage attendees > Actions > Export attendee list
3. Process refunds
To issue refunds, please follow the detailed instructions in the dedicated article.
4. Legal obligations in the event of cancellation
If an event is cancelled, organisers are legally required to refund buyers. For more information, consult the related article.
