Setting up the Apple Wallet option

I’m an organiser and I’d like my event attendees to be able to download their ticket to their Apple Wallet. How do I do this? (If you are a ticket holder and want to add your ticket to your Wallet, please see this article)

1. Setting up the option

You must activate this option via your Weezevent back office by clicking on Ticketing options > Other options > Apple Wallet Tickets

NB: This option is activated by default when you create your event

If your attendees has a compatible smartphone, they will be redirected, after clicking on "Download my tickets" from their order confirmation email, to a page where they can choose to either:

  • Download their ticket to Apple Wallet
  • Download their ticket as a PDF

2. Fields displayed on the Apple Wallet ticket

By default, the fields displayed on the Apple Wallet ticket are limited to:

  • Event name 
  • Event start date
  • Attendee’s first and last name
  • Price name
