Sell More Than Just Tickets With The Cross-Selling Option

At the heart of the purchase process, offer your participants the chance to buy additional items alongside their ticket: products (promotional items, clothing, etc.), services (shuttle, meals, etc.), or cashless top-ups.

  1. Interface for the Buyer:
The customer selects their seats for your event.

The customer selects the additional product(s) that are automatically suggested to them.

The customer then receives a confirmation email containing their tickets, their item order, and an invoice if they requested one.

2.3 Add Variants to an Item
To allow participants to choose specific characteristics, such as size or color, fill in the following fields for each variant:

  • Item name: this is the label that will appear in the sales module

  • Reference: choose a reference that will uniquely identify the item in the “Participant Management” tool and in your Excel (.csv) exports

  • Price incl. tax: don’t forget to account for the commission—see point 3 of this article

Then click “Save and add a new variant” or “Add” to return to the main screen.

Here is an example of how different T-shirt size variants might be displayed:

2.4 Put Products on Sale by Event and Ticket Type

It’s now time to make your item available for purchase. To do this, go to the "On Sale" tab of your item.

Select the event in which the item and its variants should be available for sale.

Select the ticket types where the item and its variants should be offered. Click the Visibility button for each ticket type to enable or hide the item from sale.

You can choose to make the selection of the product/service mandatory to complete the purchase, and decide whether or not to expand the variant selection in the form.

Tip: If you make a response mandatory for one of your items, we recommend opening it by default so that the "none" option appears. This will make it easier for a buyer who does not want to add an item to their order to understand.

  1. And the commissions?
    Our commissions are available here.
Please note that there is no minimum or maximum, unlike ticketing commissions.
