Manually Importing My Tickets From Ticket Agents

By expanding your distribution channels, you can boost your sales and view a complete summary from your management dashboard.

Here are the steps to follow to import tickets sold by other distributors without losing a single order. 


1. Close Your Sales


We recommend setting a common sales end date for all your distributors a few days before the final closing date on Weezevent.
Some networks may not be reachable over weekends, so be sure to check their availability in advance.


2. Retrieve Distributor Files

Important: To retrieve the files, you’ll need to access the admin platforms of your distributors. Just like with closing sales, we advise contacting them early enough to get your login details.

3. Upload the Files to Your Weezevent Management Interface


Log in to your Weezevent dashboard and go to your event. Then, navigate to Attendees > Import attendees

At the top right of the page, click on Import attendees +

Choose an origin, then drag your file into the import area or select it manually. The upload will start automatically.

Next, match the fields to your table columns (e.g., Name → First name (Participants), or Status → Order Status). This will define what data is imported.

4. Set Up Imported Ticket Types


You’ll then need to assign your participants according to their ticket type. You can link them to an existing price category or create new ones if needed.

Note: all rates created at this stage will be indicated in Configure > Rates and selling.


5. Finalise the Import


Once your files are recognised as valid, click Import to complete the process.
Note: This action is irreversible.

A confirmation screen will show you:

  • How many participants were imported: these are attendees not already listed in your Weezevent event and whose tickets are valid.

  • How many failed due to errors

Note : You can download and review the error report by clicking the three dots next to the import > Download Error Report

  • How many were invalid

All successfully imported participants will appear in your event under:
Attendees > Manage attendees
