Create an Event

1. Go to “create an event”

If you do not have any active events on your Weezevent account, you will be automatically redirected to the new event creation page.

If you want to create a new event, you can do so: 

  • directly from the white sidebar (accessible from all pages of your interface)
  • from the list of your events by clicking on “Create an event”

2. Proceed your event creation


Creating an event is done in four steps: 
  • General information
  • Location
  • Event dates
  • Rates

If you prefer to configure your event directly via the menus of your interface, you can skip the next steps at any time and speed up the creation of your event.

All items entered during the creation of your event can be modified after saving it.

3. Step-by-step advice

3.1 General information

The visual of your event helps distinguish it, and is therefore used by default as the banner of your mini-site.

The event description provides more information about how your event will unfold for potential participants.

3.2 Location

You have the option to automatically search for an address or enter it manually.

If your event is online, you have the possibility to indicate it and select the platform you use.

3.3 Event dates

Your event dates are displayed on your mini-site and tickets sent to your attendees. It is important to clearly indicate this information.

If your event occurs in multiple occurrences on different dates, you have the option to activate the session mode.

3.4 Event rates

This refers to the ticketing offer you will provide to participants. Depending on the nature of your ticketing system, you have the option to offer:

  • Fixed price rates
  • flexible rates (especially for donation proposals)
  • free rates
