Create and Structure My Events's Rates (CAD)

Offer different types of rates to enhance your ticketing options

1. Create a rate

You can create different rates for your event by clicking the "Add" button and then selecting "Add a rate".
You will then be able to define specific settings for each one of them.

Wording of the rate

It will appear on your ticketing module and on the tickets purchased by your participants. You are limited to 60 characters for optimal display.

Visibility online

This allows you to activate the online sale of this rate or, on the contrary, hide it from the ticketing module.

You can change the visibility of the rate at any time from the Configure > Rates and Selling page by clicking on the price eye icon or from the price settings.

Pricing: flexible, fixed or free

  • Fixed price: determine the selling price by entering the final price paid by the buyer (including VAT for the customer). The amount collected after commission as well as the commission are indicated just below.
  • Free: for your invitations. No commission taken by Weezevent since it is free.
  • Flexible  price: useful for donations or requests to participate. The buyer enters himself the amount he wants to pay. It is possible to define a minimum price or not, by default this one is 1€ Incl. Tax.

VAT rate

The VAT you are subject ti can be defined at the event in the section Configure > Event data or for each tariff. By default each rate includes the VAT defined at the event, however you may need to define a different VAT depending on the services/ products that you are offering.

Quota Limit of tickets at a certain rate

Enable this option to set a maximum quota of tickets that you want to sell at this rate, regardless of channel.

If you have tickets booked and not purchased yet, they still count towards this quota.

Web form

This allows you to link one of the forms defined in Configure > Forms. This action can also be done directly from the form.

A rate can only be linked to one form.

Description of rate

It appears on the ticketing module and on the participant’s e-ticket. It can also be displayed on the sales module (tab Ticketing options, section module display).

Date and end of sale

For each rate, you can define when it will be available for sale:

  • either by default when the event is published or on the set date for the entire event,
  • either on a specific date and time,
  • or by taking over another rate. In this case, the first rate must have either an end of sale date or a defined quota for the second rate to take over. The second rate must be visible online so that the relay is done automatically. This may be useful if you are offering a rate with a lower price, valid until that date or for x tickets. The normal rate can be set to start automatically from the date passed or x tickets sold.

Quantity per order

Activate this option to set a minimum and/or maximum number of tickets that can be selected per order for this rate.

You can also set a preset value.

Rate in bundle

The "Sell rate in bundle" option allows you to define group rates. For example, you would like to set up a $100 family pack, accessible only for 4 people at a time.

How to set it?

  • indicate a price per ticket and not for a group of tickets: using our example, the price to be indicated is therefore $15 per ticket
  • define the number of tickets per lot: here we block the choice to 4 tickets per lot, so a buyer can choose one or more lots of 4 tickets
  • your accounting will indicate 4 x $15 tickets

2. Create rate groups and subgroups

Add a category

To add a rate group, click the Add button > Add a group.

Select the name and, if necessary, the quota of tickets available for sale for the entire price group.

Setting up a quota on a rate group allows you to impose a quota on several rates at once.

This can be useful when you want to set a quota on a show without imposing a maximum per rate (example: CONCERT 1 containing 2 tariffs: NORMAL TARIFF and REDUCED TARIFF). So you do not have to break down the number of places available between these two rates. The regulation will be automatic and sales will be blocked when the quota of the rate group is reached.

You can move one or more existing tariffs from the actions, by choosing "add to a group".

Add a subgroup of rates:

To add a subcategory you must first add a rate group in the same way as described above.

When creating the group, you have the option to nest your new rate group in an existing group to turn it into a subgroup.

3. Manage rates

Apply a global quota

From the list of your rates, you have the option to enter a global quota to limit the total number of tickets available for your entire event.

an

Define an overall sales period

If you want to open and close your ticketing automatically on specific dates, you can set a sale period.

Change the order in which rates are displayed

At the top right of the price list, the "Organise rates and groups" button allows you to define the order in which the prices will appear on your online ticketing.
