1. Create a price.
You can create different rates for your event by clicking on the "Add" button and then "A rate".
You will then be able to set the specific parameters for each rate.
Description.
This will appear on your ticketing module and on the tickets purchased by your participants. You are limited to 60 characters for optimal display.
Internet visibility
This allows you to activate online sales of this fare or to hide it from the payment module.
You can change the visibility of the tariff at any time from the Configure > Rates and sales page by clicking on the tariff eye icon or from the tariff settings.
Pricing: free, fixed or free
- Fixed price: Determine the selling price by entering the final price paid by the buyer (price including VAT for the customer). The amount received after commission and the commission are shown just below.
- Free : For your invitations. No commission is taken by Weezevent since it's free.
- Free price : Useful for donations or participation requests. The buyer enters the amount they wish to pay. It's possible to define a minimum price or not, by default it's 1€ all taxes included.
VAT rates
The VAT to which you are subject can be defined for the event in the Configure > Event data section or for each price. By default, each price includes the VAT defined for the event, but you may need to define a different VAT rate depending on the services/products you are selling.
Limit number of tickets available at this price
Activate this option to set a maximum quota of tickets you want to sell at this price, all channels combined.
If you have tickets reserved, they will count towards this quota.
Web form
This allows you to link one of the forms defined in Configure > Forms to your fare. This action can also be taken directly from the form.
A fare can only be linked to one form.
Tarif description.
It appears on the ticketing module and on the participant's e-ticket. It can also be displayed on the sales module (Ticketing options tab, Online ticketing display policy section).
Date and end of sale
For each fare, you can define when it will be available for sale:
- either by default when the event is published or on the on-sale date set for the entire event,
- or at a specific date and time,
- or by taking over from another fare. In this case, the first rate must have either an end-of-sale date or a defined quota so that the second rate can take over. The second price must be visible online for the relay to take place automatically. This can be particularly useful if you are putting a special offer on sale with a lower price, valid until such and such a date or for x number of tickets. The normal price can be set to start automatically as soon as the date has passed or x tickets have been sold.
Quantity per order
Activate this option to define a minimum and/or maximum number of tickets that can be selected per order for this fare.
You can also define a pre-selected value.
Batch of tickets
- The "Define by batch" option allows you to define group offers. For example, you might want to set up a €100 family pack, accessible only to 4 people at a time.
- How do you set it up?
- you specify a price per ticket and not for a group of tickets: if we go back to our example, the price to be indicated is therefore €25 per ticket
- you define the number of tickets per batch: here we are limiting the choice to 4 tickets per batch, so a buyer can choose one or more batches of 4 tickets
- your invoice will show 4 tickets at €25
2. Create rate groups and sub-groups
Add a category
To add a fare group, click on the Add > A fare group button.
Then choose the name of the fare group and, if required, the quota of tickets available for sale for the fare group as a whole.
Setting a quota on a fare group allows you to impose a quota on several fares at once.
This can be useful when you want to set a quota for a show without imposing a maximum per rate (example: CONCERT 1 containing 2 rates: STANDARD RATE and REDUCED RATE). This way you won't have to split the number of seats available between these two tariffs. The system will be regulated automatically and sales will be blocked when the quota for the fare group is reached.
You can move one or more existing fares from the actions by selecting "Move to a fare group":
Add a tariff sub-group
To add a sub-category you must first add a fare group in the same way as described above.
When creating the group, you have the option of nesting your new fare group within an existing group to transform it into a sub-group.
3. Manage tariffs
Apply a global capacity
From the list of your prices, you can enter a global quota to limit the total number of tickets available for your entire event.
Define a global sales period
If you want to open and close your ticketing service automatically on specific dates, you can define a sales period.
Change the order in which fares are displayed
At the top right of the price list, the "Organise prices and groups" button allows you to define the order in which the prices will appear on your online ticketing service.
