Learn how to link your WeezTicket event to your LinkedIn event.
If you've created a LinkedIn event on your organization's page, the LinkedIn connector allows you to invite new registrants on your ticketing platform to join the LinkedIn event, enhancing their overall experience.
Retrieve Your LinkedIn Event ID
To get your LinkedIn Event ID:
- Go to your LinkedIn event page.
- In the event URL, you’ll find a string of digits (e.g., 1234567890).
- Copy this number, as you’ll need it for the next step.
Enter the LinkedIn Event ID in WeezTicket
- Go to your event settings on WeezTicket.
- Navigate to Ticketing Options > Integrations.
- Paste the LinkedIn Event ID into the designated field.
- Save your changes.
Once enabled, new registrants will be prompted to join the LinkedIn event during the confirmation step of their registration.
How Participants Join Your LinkedIn Event
After completing their registration:
- Participants will see a LinkedIn box inviting them to join your LinkedIn event community.
- Once they’ve clicked and joined, they’ll see a confirmation right in the same section.
This feature helps grow your event’s visibility and encourages networking before the big day!
