Are you using an email address linked to your own domain name? To ensure optimal deliverability of your email campaigns, it's essential to correctly set up DNS records with your domain host.
A domain host (e.g., OVH, GoDaddy, or Dady) is a service provider that manages your domain name, such as yourevent.com. These hosts use DNS records to connect your domain name to web services, including websites and email.
Why Configure DNS Records?
DNS records verify that we are authorised to send emails on your behalf using your domain. Proper configuration improves deliverability, helps your emails avoid spam folders, and ensures email authenticity for recipients (such as Gmail or Outlook).
Steps to Follow:
- Log in to your account with your domain host.
- Navigate to the DNS zone section. (Its location may vary depending on your provider.)
- Enter the four DNS entries listed in WeezCrew under Settings > Emails > DNS Entries.
- For each record, input the type (CNAME or TXT), the name, and the value exactly as provided.
Access to your domain name’s DNS settings is required to complete this setup.
Validation:
If the records are entered correctly, they will be validated within 24 hours. A success message will appear in WeezCrew. Otherwise, an error message will be displayed.
Important: An error message usually indicates a mistake in one of the entries. Please review the details carefully and try again.
